Learn to apply scientific and mathematical principles to engineering design and construction. Courses include physics, chemistry, geology, and hydrology – and practical sciences such as surveying and computer graphics. Receive specific instruction across a range of Civil Engineering practices, including structural and geotechnical engineering (buildings and their foundations); transport engineering (roads, airports, bridges); water resources engineering (dams, rivers, urban water systems); and construction engineering management (cost estimation, scheduling).
